The Whitworth Art Gallery
Behind the Whitworth Art Gallery's impressive Victorian facade is a light and spacious modern interior, home to the Whitworth's internationally famous collections of British watercolours, drawing and prints. The largest textile and wallpaper collection outside London and a fine range of modern art. In addition to the lively programme of changing displays and exhibitions, the range of gifts in the shops and the scrumtious cakes in the Bistro provide something for everyone to enjoy.The recently opened mezzanine court is a new venue for sculpture.
