Service Outline
Anyone wishing to deal in game must be licensed by the Local Authority under the Game Act 1831, and also obtain an excise licence under the Game Licences Act 1860 from the Post Office. The relevant Acts define 'game' as hares, pheasants, partridges, grouse, heath and moor game, black game, woodcock, snipe, rabbits and deer.
Game dealers licences are renewable every 12 months.
