Licence - tattooing, acupuncture, ear and cosmetic piercing, electrolysis and skin colouring

If you own or run a business and want to carry out acupuncture, tattooing (including semi-permanent body tattooing), ear-piercing, body piercing or electrolysis you will need to be registered with Manchester City Council under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982.

Registration applies to the person and the premises.

If a business moves premises, you will need to reapply.

The licence will remain in force until either the business ceases to exist or registration is cancelled.
