Service Outline
The Manchester Event volunteers developed from the Volunteer Crew at the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games. An interest in volunteering was one of the many legacies left to the region by the Games and is as important as the stadia, improvements in infrastructure and the changed image of Manchester and the North West.
Since 2002 Volunteers have supported over 200 community, regional and national events.
