Service Outline

Manchester City Council is not responsible for the provision of public transport.

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) Is the new name for the organisation responsible for implementing local transport policy (formerly GMPTE).

Greater Manchester Integrated Transport Authority (GMITA). Are responsible for setting local public transport policy and for deciding how money is spent on supporting and improving Greater Manchester's public transport network.
