Traffic schemes
Service Outline
Manchester City Council's Local Transport Capital Programme covers about a hundred traffic schemes each year. These schemes usually include modifications to existing highways and street features and the creation of new features to improve road safety or traffic management.
The proposals for each scheme are opened for public consultation before the designs are finalised. Details of the proposals and a questionnaire is sent to local residents within the extent of the scheme and other parties that have expressed an interest in traffic scheme proposals. It is intended that the consultations are made available on the Manchester City Council website.
