Valuing older people - grants

Service Outline

The Valuing Older People Small Grant scheme was launched in September 2004. In its first year, it gave total of £27,135 to support a diverse range of projects and activities across Manchester - 34 groups in total. In its second year (2005/06) it allocated £26,909 to a further 34 groups and repeat grants to five organisations.

The allocation panel, which assesses applications, consists of older people from both the Partnership Board and the Manchester Older Peoples Network.
