Service Outline
Council Tax is a local tax, set by councils to help pay for local services like policing and refuse collection. It applies to all domestic properties.
You can pay your Council Tax bill by ten monthly instalments April to January or twelve monthly instalments if you choose to pay by direct debit. You can choose one of four payment dates (7th, 15th, 21st or 28th of the month). Alternatively you can also choose to pay it all at once or in two half yearly amounts.
