Ventilation, air extraction and air-conditioning systems are often a major problem within a community. Poorly installed or maintained systems can be a nuisance to neighbours because of noise, fume or odour problems. Odour problems particularly applies to extraction units at restaurants and take-aways but may also include extraction systems from production plant at other commercial premises.

We investigate complaints about air handling equipment and fume extraction systems and deal with problems that are causing nuisance and disamenity to residents.
