Caring for children with disabilities can be a very rewarding experience. We are looking for ordinary people from all parts of the community who have patience, commitment and a sense of humour to care for disabled children.
The Disabled Children's Family Placement team's services may become available after an assessment of need from the Disabled Children's team and agreement by a panel for a service to be provided. The services are available to children and young people (age 0 - 18 years) with severe disabilities living within Manchester City Boundaries and to their families and carers.
