Bus lane enforcement

One of the key aims of Manchester City Council is to ensure the free flow of traffic throughout the City. One of the ways to achieve this aim is through bus lane enforcement. Manchester City Council undertakes bus lane enforcement across the city, in areas where there are traffic congestion issues or problems with bus lane abuse. This means that if a vehicle is captured by CCTV using a bus lane during restricted hours a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) may be issued.
