Service Outline

Building Control Surveyors play a principal role with major public events, either licensed or unlicensed that are held on the highway or in the public parks. They liaise with the other local authority departments and agencies to provide public safety advice to help to ensure that the events are organised in a safe manner. They check the structural stability of all temporary structures and that crowd management and control measures are satisfactory.
