Service Outline

Manchester road safety team deals with the education, training and publicity for road safety to pre schools, primary and secondary schools, special schools, FE colleges, businesses etc.

We also promote the road safety messages run through local and national events.

We also manage the School Crossing Patrol service dealing with the recruitment, training and supervision of over 180 patrols throught the City.

Our aim is to reduce the number and severity of road casualties in Manchester by working together with other agencies to create positive attitudes and awareness, which will contribute to a safer environment for all road users.
