Reablement

Service Outline

The Reablement service is provided by Manchester City Council's Directorate for Adults, Health and Wellbeing to people who've recently had a change in circumstances, such as bereavement, a fall or a stroke, for whom a bit of help can get them back up to speed, enabling them to be independent once more.

Not all people who need help or support from the council would benefit from this short, six-week service, and you'd need an assessment of your needs to decide this.

You can get in touch with our Contact Service for Social Care to find out more or refer yourself, or someone else.
