Transport policy
Service Outline
Policy advice on transport is provided by the City Policy team at Manchester City Council.
Working with the Manchester Partnership, Neighbourhood Regeneration Teams and our Neighbourhood delivery teams, our aim is to support the economic growth of Manchester through development of a world class transport system which makes the city a better place to live, work, invest and relax. Changes in travel behaviour are encouraged by our Travel Change Team. This team supports sustainable travel options for schools, businesses and residents via individually developed School & workplace travel plans; walking & cycling schemes and City Centre Car Club - Pay by the Hour Cars.Information about..
