Crime and Disorder Team
Service Outline
The Crime and Disorder Act (1998) requires the local council, the police and other partners to work together to tackle crime and disorder in their area.
To do this, they must come together and form a Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP).
The Crime and Disorder Team work closely with the following services, to ensure Manchester is a safe place to live, work and enjoy:
- Mediation Services
- Community Safety
- Antisocial Behaviour Action Team (ASBAT)
- The Drug and Alcohol Strategy Team (DAST)
- Domestic Abuse
- Youth Offending Service (YOS)
- Manchester Multi Agency Gang Services (MMAGS)
- Complex Families
- Family Intervention Project (FIP)
