Service Outline

Vandalism is an illegal, anti-social activity that creates a negative impression of an area and contributes to people's fear of crime.

Manchester City Council aim to prevent vandalism within the city with initiatives such as CCTV, street wardens and improved street lighting. Where vandalism has taken place on public property we will carry out repairs.

If you witness vandalism taking place, please report it to Greater Manchester Police (external site).

Manchester City Council is not responsible for the following types of vandalism:
