Family Information Service

Manchester Family Information Service is a free, confidential and impartial information and advice service for families with children aged 0-19 years (25 years for children with special needs).

We provide information:

  • Looking for childcare
  • Sports & Leisure Activities
  • Before & After School Clubs
  • Holiday Clubs
  • Working Parent Rights
  • Adult & Toddler Groups/Clubs
  • Advice & Information on Parenting
  • Youth Provision
  • Tax Credits & Childcare Vouchers
  • Support for children with disabilities
  • And general information for children aged 0-19 years

Manchester Play

This service provides resources and support to providers of open-access and out-of-school play for children aged between 5 and 14 years.

Manchester Sure Start

Sure Start is the Government's programme to support children and families by delivering the best start in life for every child and to help parents balance their work and family commitments.
