Service Outline

Section 7 of the Data Protection Act 1998 allows you to find out what information is held about you on computer and in some paper records. This is called the right of subject access. All subject access requests must be made in writing and should include two forms of ID and details regarding the data you wish to access. The Council is entitled to charge upto £10 for access to most personal information and the fee must accompany your request. Get a request form and explanatory notes
