The law requires that certain accidents at work involving employees or members of the public should be reported. The quickest and easiest way to do this is via the RIDDOR incident contact centre. If you are not sure if an incident is reportable then check the Health and Safety Executive's website
Reporting of accidents is a legal requirement under the reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995. Further information including the facility for on-line reporting or obtaining the relevant form is available at Health and Safety Executive website.
