Who is this course for?
Learners with learning difficulties and/ or disabilities who are interested in pottery

Entry requirements
None, as long as you can speak and understand basic English

What will I learn on this course?
Making pots: pinching, slab-rolling and press-moulding as well as decorating pots: slip decoration, glazing.

How will I learn?
You will attend for 1 session a week for 12 weeks. You will learn through practical activities, one to one teaching and group work.

What qualifications will I gain?
None, but you will receive a Manchester Adult Education Service certificate.

Will I have to do an exam?
No, your work will be assessed during your course by your tutor.

What equipment or materials will I need to provide?
You will need to provide your own dust mask and rubber gloves (disposable are best)

This course is free if you are on JSA, on other benefits you may be able to pay a reduced fee.
