  3. Which bin?

    Brown recycling bin or box

  4. What to do. . .

All of your plastic bottles can be recycled in your brown recycling bin or box: plastic milk bottles, pro-biotic drinks, cordial or fizzy drinks, as well as shampoo or conditioner, bubble bath, bleach, mouthwash, toilet cleaner or washing-up liquid.

Remove the lids first (the lids should either be thrown away or collected for businesses such as Lush, who recycle bottle tops into tubs for their products).

Please don't include any other plastics because the processing facility that we send our plastic bottles to won't accept anything else. Even if it's the same type of plastic as the bottles and has the recycling symbol in it - if it isn't bottle shaped, don't put it into your brown bin or box. Other types of plastic such as yoghurt pots, food trays, margarine tubs, plastic bags and other plastic containers are made from lower grade plastic or even polystyrene, which means that they cannot be recycled together with plastic bottles.
