Entry of a person's name in the local authority's list. -
Summary
For a person to sell any non-medicinal poison which is a substance included in Part II of the Poisons List, he must be either a person lawfully conducting a retail pharmacy business (and the sale is effected on premises which are a registered pharmacy), or his name must be entered in a local authority’s list in respect of the premises on which the poison is sold. A listed seller cannot sell poisons which are included in Part I of the Poisons List; these may only be sold by a pharmacist. -
Fees
New application £30.00
Renewal fee £17.00 -
Validity / Renewals
A person's name shall be retained on the list for the period of twelve months beginning on 1st April each year. An application shall be made before 31st March each year to retain a person's name on the list for each subsequent 12-month period. -
