Dear the citizens of Manchester, - I first want to say that, I am so so sorry that this has happened. I cannot imagine the immeasurable pain that is being felt by parents, families, children, and the citizens of Manchester right now. It is absolutely devastating that so many of you- who are such kind, loving, and wonderful people are forced to deal with the irreversible consequences and trauma caused by one cruel, sick man. While it is going to take time to rebuild and heal from the tragedy, I hope some solace can be found in knowing that Mancunians are not facing this alone, we are all standing together with and supporting you, regardless of where we are located in the world. Even though there is darkness amidst this unfathomable tragedy, all hope for humanity is not lost. Hope (no matter how small it may be) does exist, and with this hope, it will be used for good, to show that kindness, compassion, generosity, and charity among humans still remains, even when it seems like an impossibility. To finish this letter, once again know that there are an immense number of people around the world (including myself) who are standing with Mancunians, and together we will rebuild, one step at a time. - - Sending my love, condolences, thoughts and prayers, and hope to anyone who needs it xx. - - Much love, - Cassandra Kawa, Ontario, Canada -
