Summary
Once an application has been approved, the holder must notify the authority of any change of circumstances, as detailed within the guidance notes section 1b (point 4). -

Validity / Renewals
A Licence is valid for 3 years.
The holder may apply for the renewal of an approval when the current approval has less than twelve months to run. An application for renewal made in this period will extend the current approval until the application has been finally dealt with. A renewal will run from the expiry date of the current approval. -
Relevant legislation
Any changes of circumstances must be submitted by the holder of the approval.

Declaration
Upon completion of your application you will be required to confirm that you:

e) understand that if the application is authorised you must inform the authority about any changes to circumstances that mean you no longer meet the conditions for the authorisation;
f) understand where a statutory declaration has been provided it may be forwarded to Greater Manchester Police; -
Application Evaluation Process
To be granted, your application must be in the correct format and your premises deemed suitable.
The Registrar General may issue guidance to local authorities to assist them in making their decision.

Processing Timescales
For minor changes of circumstances we will change our records as necessary and confirm to you that this change has been made within 3 weeks.
If the change of circumstances is significant, and would materially affect the terms of the approval, you will be contacted within 3 weeks to discuss whether a new full application is required. -
Will Tacit Consent Apply
Tacit Consent will apply.
This means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from Manchester City Council by the end of the target period.
Please note Tacit Consent will only apply once a full application has been submitted and you have received an acknowledgment from Manchester City Council.

You have the right to seek a review of Manchester City Council's refusal to grant your application.
You must deliver your request for review to the proper officer of Manchester City Council, accompanied by any requested fee. -
