Summary
If you wish to trade on any of the Manchester Street Markets you first need to apply to register on the Street Markets trader database.
Traders registered on the database will be invited in advance to trade on the markets.

None for the application however Market Occupancy charges will apply, see attached:

Validity / Renewals
Registration will remain in force until it is either changed or cancelled.
Where the details you have registered with Manchester Markets change, you must provide notification within 14 days of the changes.

a) Passport-sized colour photograph
b) Proof of your legal right to work in the UK
c) Proof of address x 2
d) Public liability insurance policy document or NMTF membership card
e) Where applicable, provide proof of your registration as a dealer in second-hand goods or as a food business establishment

e) understand that if the application is authorised you must inform the authority about any changes to circumstances that mean you no longer meet the conditions for the authorisation
f) understand where a statutory declaration has been provided it may be forwarded to Greater Manchester Police

Processing Timescales
Providing the application is complete, applications to register on the Manchester Street Markets trader database will be processed within 14 days.
When planning the market operation, we will contact registered traders in advance to invite them to stand on the markets.

Will Tacit Consent Apply
Tacit Consent will apply. This means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from Manchester City Council by the end of the target period.
Please note Tacit Consent will only apply once a full application has been submitted and you have received an acknowledgment from Manchester City Council. -
