Committee Report: Future Pattern of Provision for Children with Special Educational Needs: Phase 2 (September 2003)
The purpose of the report was to present proposals for a revised pattern of provision for meeting special educational
needs in the City. The report covers a wide range of special educational needs and
includes recommendations across the whole range of special educational need,
consistent with the approved and developing City Council SEN Strategy. It makes specific
proposals relating to the closure or reorganisation of a number of special schools as part of developing the new pattern of provision.
