If you have a child born between 1 September 1997 and 31 August 1998 you will need to make an application for a secondary school place for the 2009/10 academic year. The deadline for submitting an applicationis 17 October 2008. After this date the online application website will be closed. Any late applications will be processed after all on-time applications. Making a late application may mean that you are not allocated a place at one of your preffered schools.

The deadline for secondary school applications for children due to start in Year 7 in September 2009 was 17th October 2008. If you still need to apply for a secondary school, please call the school admissions team on 0161 234 7188.
The online application site will re-open on 14th November 2008. This will only be for applications to start in Reception in 2009/10 (children born between 01 September 2004 and 31 August 2005).
