The annual Christmas Fair in this spectacular park takes place over two days on the 1st and 2nd of December in the delightful farm centre.
Christmas gifts and craft stalls, Santa in his grotto,seasonal plants to buy, donkey rides for the children and winter walks for the adults make this an unmissable Christmas event for your diary.
The Grade 1 listed Heaton Hall will throw open its doors for the weekend with free guided tours, mulled wine and mince pies.

You'll find enticing gifts including decorative pottery and ceramics, handcrafted toys and decorations, jewellery and Christmas trees, plants and bulbs from Holland. Continental sausages, roasted almonds, crêpes as well as Bavarian beer and Glühwein provide the perfect alfresco snack.

Art Treasures in Manchester: 150 years on

This exhibition marks the 150th anniversary of Art Treasures of the United Kingdom, the largest ever art exhibition in the UK, held here in Manchester in 1857.
Held at Old Trafford, Art Treasures featured 16,000 exhibits and attracted over 1.3 million visitors, including Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens and John Ruskin.
This exhibition both celebrates this major artistic event and brings back to Manchester some of the outstanding pictures and artworks which were on show.
The exhibition includes works by British artists such as Gainsborough, Turner, Stubbs, Constable and the Pre-Raphaelites, as well as European old masters including Michaelangelo and Rembrandt.
