Is my child eligible for a free bus pass?
All pupils who have Special Educational Needs are eligible for a free bus pass, which will enable them to travel for free on all public buses, trams and trains in the Greater Manchester area.
If your child does not have Special Educational Needs but they live more than 2 miles from their Primary school or 3 miles from their Secondary school they will be entitled to a free bus pass that they can use to travel to and from school.
