How do I apply for a taxi licence?

We are responsible for licensing hackney carriage (cabs) and private hire vehicles and their drivers in Manchester and are committed to providing a quality transport service within the taxi and private hire trade.

It is our responsibility to ensure the taxi and private hire trade in Manchester is operated in a professional manner and that the correct standards of safety and comfort are satisfied by all drivers, vehicles and operators.
