The council has many thousands of pages of relevant local information available.
The aim of our website is to provide you with as much information as possible 24 hours a day so that you can easily access our services.
There are several ways to find information on this website:
The keyword search is available at the very top of the website. It works just like an internet seach engine and will look for keywords in all sections of the website.
Try to make your search as specific as possible because if you just use a common word you may get hundreds of results.
Our website information is organised using categories that represent topics and services. These categories can be found at the top of the left column of every page.
For instance, 'Council Tax' would be found under: Advice and Benefits | Council Tax
The A-Z is a definitive list of all our services, organised alphabetically. This can be found on the homepage or from 'A-Z' at the very top of the site.
These are areas where important information is updated regularly or called out for easier access. Key Information is displayed within the left column under Council Categories.
Similar to the keyword search, 'Advanced Search' enables you to refine your search, so that you can look for things by section and by combinations of words.
The site map provides a quick reference list of all the sections of this website. It will also help you understand the structure of the website and its information. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please do contact us.
