Advice for people who are affected by Cancer

Macmillan benefit advice for people living with cancer

Advice and negotiation on the whole range of social welfare issues including benefits, tax credits, debts, housing and employment.  The service is available to anyone who has a cancer diagnosis and who is receiving treatment from one of the 4 hospitals in Manchester.  It is also open to their family and or carer.

  • University Hospital South Manchester - 0161 291 4931

These services are funded by Macmillan Cancer care.

Christie Hospital provide equivalent services as above to people receiving care at that hospital - call 0161 446 8538 / 8539

General advice services are provided by the 6 Community legal Advice Services across the city.
