Environmental Business Pledge

There are three levels of the Environmental Business Pledge:

Bronze - Awareness

The Bronze level focuses on existing environmental performance and setting a baseline against which to measure improvement.

Silver - Action

To achieve Silver, organisations need to take action demonstrating practical steps taken to reduce their environmental impact.

Gold - Achievement

Gold awards are given to organisations that have made progress, formalised their environmental systems and can verify real results from their improvements.

Award Assessment

Once you sign up to become a member of the Environmental Business Pledge you will be assigned a Business Pledge Advisor and given an award resource pack containing the criteria for each award, reference material and checklists. Your Business Pledge Advisor will provide advice and support as you work through the award criteria and will conduct a verification visit once you feel that you have completed the award requirements.
