We aim to provide information which will help you provide high quality care for the children of Manchester. This information will support you and although there may seem to be a lot of documents, these are here for you to dip into as and when you need to.

All the information you need to support you in being a Registered Childminder
We have put documents into areas that you will recognise, such as the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted, National Childminding Association and Safeguarding. We have also put together support documents to help you meet the EYFS, which will help you with observation, assessment and planning, risk assessment, recording complaints and for example, tracking children's progress.
Helping you to run your business
We have a business support section to help you keep up to date with the day to day running of your business, as well as how you can promote your business by giving consent to Family Information Services (FIS) to give your details to parents.
