This project brings together Piper Hill SEN High School and St Paul's RC High School on the St Paul's site in Baguley, Wythenshawe, as part of Manchester City Council's education inclusion strategy. Piper Hill have re-located from their existing site in Northern Moor. The 2 schools have retained their separate identities but are linked by a covered walkway at ground floor level and a first floor 'bridge'. Shared accommodation includes a learning resource centre, staff room and dining room.
The project has delivered a combination of new-build and refurbished accommodation. The frontage onto Firbank Road has been completely transformed, with the terracotta façade to the main hall at first floor level offering a focal point to the scheme.
