This project incorporates new build along with refurbishment. There is a large central atrium forming the core of the building with a bridge link between the new and existing building.
The building layout promotes the move towards transformational learning. There is a central 'heart' to the school, which is made up of the hall, dining and drama areas. The teaching spaces wrap around these to create more of an impression of a community. Planned local community use of the school facilities will make this one of the focal buildings of the area.
