Show your love for Manchester
The 'I Love MCR' campaigns shows the world that the people of Manchester are proud of their city and are united against anti-social behaviour in light of the disturbances that took place on Tuesday 9 August.
Become a fan on the I Love MCR Facebook page where you can show your love for the city by posting your Manchester messages and uploading your 'I Love MCR' videos and images. You can also download Twibbons, desktop wallpapers and and follow the conversation on Twitter using #IloveMCR
Free parking in the city centre
To help the city bounce back from the effect of the disturbances, which resulted in the number of shoppers last weekend falling by 20 per cent, we're pleased to let you know that on-street parking will be free from 4pm for the next two Thursdays (until 1 September).
And for the next two Saturdays (27 August and 3 September) NCP parking will be free in the High Street (Arndale) carpark between 6.30pm and 10pm - a saving of up to £6.90.
In addition, NCP parking will also be free for the next two Thursdays (25 August and 1 September), in the Chester Street, Printworks and Salford Exchange car parks between 4pm and 8pm.
Manchester loves you
To say thank you for supporting Manchester, many businesses have provided great offers which you can find at Visit Manchester's website.N4 Loves You festival - 3 - 4 September
As part of the I Love MCR campaign, Northern Quarter businesses are hosting a two-day free festival called N4 Loves U Festival on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 September from midday until 9pm each day.
The festival is centred around Thomas Street, Tib Street, Edge Street, Copperas Street, High Street and Oak Street which will be closed off to traffic. There will be music stages, four pop-up bars and thirty acts performing across the weekend. Afflecks will also be running a vintage market.

Support Manchester charities
Don't forget, you can pick up your own 'I LoveMCR' merchandise from the Visit Manchester shop in Piccadilly Plaza, Portland Street. All proceeds from t-shirts sales will be given to Manchester- based charities, Forever Manchester and RECLAIM.
