Penalty Charge Notice - paying your fine
Pay your fine online - remember the earlier you pay, the less you pay!
A Penalty Charge Notice will be issued (PCN/parking ticket) when a vehicle is parked in contravention of parking regulations or when a vehicle is captured by CCTV using a bus lane during restricted hours.
The registered owner not the driver is legally responsible for payments or appeals against parking tickets. Therefore the registered owner of the vehicle should write to us to contest any parking tickets that the vehicle receives if they so choose.
The current cost of a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN/parking ticket) depends on the contravention. Please see our Parking Contravention Codes page for further information. The charge is reduced by 50% if paid within 14 days of the date of issue.
If the ticket remains unpaid, the outstanding value may increase over time.
If you have been issued with a parking ticket, you can view photographs of the contravention online.
