Taster sessions

If you have a group of friends, colleagues or children, we can provide Taster sessions of three hours duration in most activities for groups of up to ten people, at a cost of £149.00.

All equipment, clothing, tuition and safety cover is included in the price.

 

Private tuition

Private tuition with a qualified instructor is available. A short intensive course may be just what you need to refresh old skills learnt years ago, or to prepare for an assessment. Tailor-made according to your requirements, prices are £25.00 per hour.

Sports people with special needs

There are few special needs that we cannot accommodate at Debdale. Whatever your group's particular needs and sporting interests, we can probably cater for you.

We have specialised equipment available and staff experienced in working with groups with a variety of different needs.

 

Junior club and adult club

Once you have done one of our courses and covered the basics in your sport, you may wish to join our club sessions. This is a good choice for personal practice and to continue to improve your skills and knowledge in your chosen activity.

Speak to your instructor at the end of your course if you are interested.

We like to think of ourselves as flexible enough to provide a broad range of adventurous activities.

Activities for Schools and Colleges

Debdale Outdoor Centre offers schools and colleges a very wide range of activities tailored to meet your requirements. Here are just some of the facilities we can offer.

 

Physical education (PE)

We can offer a programmed unit of PE to expand your department's range of sports. We can also offer many of the outdoor pursuit options from the GCSE Physical Education syllabuses.

 

School sports days/activity days

Looking for something different for the end of term, or for a reward system? How about your very own school regatta?

We can organise a competitive or participatory sports event in our usual range of activities.

We can cater for almost any size of group, from a small number of prize-winners to whole forms, year groups and more.

 

Hire facility

Most of the Centre's extensive range of equipment is available for hire by individuals. Hirers must have sufficient personal competence in the chosen activity to ensure the safety of all participants.

Hire is available on a sessional basis and includes wetsuit and buoyancy aid.

A season ticket is also available.
