National Powerboat Certificate - Level 2: Course Fee £130

The aim of this course is to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. Level 2 is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence.

Coastal Endorsement - Level 2      Course Fee £110

One day practical assessment of the level 2 syllabus on the Menai Straits, Anglesey . Pre-course experience required: Level 2 inland. Includes a preparatory evening session at Debdale.

RYA Safety Boat Course      Course Fee £130

The safety boat course provides the skills required when acting as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, for racing or training activities.

RYA INTERMEDIAte Powerboat day cruising course £259

This course covers the practical use of pilotage and passage planning by day on coastal waters. Pre-course experience required: Level 2 Coastal. This is a residential course based on the Menai Straits, Anglesey with accommodation included in the course fee.

RYA Advanced Powerboat Course        Course Fee £290

This course covers the skills and background knowledge needed by powerboat drivers operating by day or night in known or unfamiliar waters. Candidates should be competent to the standard of the Intermediate Powerboat Certificate with a thorough knowledge of navigation and chartwork to the level of the Day Skipper shorebased certificate. You are required to hold a first aid certificate and a VHF operator's certificate. This is a residential course based on the Menai Straits, Anglesey with accommodation included in the course fee.

R.Y.A. POWERBOAT INSTRUCTORS COURSE            Course Fee £260

The Instructor is a competent, experienced powerboater who has been trained to teach powerboating up to Level 2. Candidates should hold an RYA Level 2 Powerboat certificate and a valid first aid certificate. Minimum age 16.
