Homeless people: standards you can expect from us
Your service, our standards
Our homelessness service is an emergency service: before you use it look at the options and advice for preventing homelessness.
If you have done this, and still think you may be entitled to our help, contact us.
If you use our service you can expect certain standards. We will keep to: the city council's general customer care standards; the standards that cover the adult social care service; and the council's commitment to equality.
Homelessness standards
As well as these wider commitments, you can expect us to keep to a particular set of standards when you use the homelessness service. They cover things like our hours of service; what happens when you ask for our help; and the temporary accommodation you may use.
