About supplementary schools
The Diversity and Inclusion Team continues to support community-based supplementary schools. We are currently supporting 41 such schools citywide. These schools make a valuable contribution to the education of our ethnic minority pupils.
Our list of supplementary schools in Manchester is not a comprehensive list. There are many more such schools which are run by local communities on a purely voluntary basis. Some of the schools on the list have links to monitoring reports against them. More such reports may be added as they become available.
