Children's Trust Arrangements (CTA)

Who does what?

Delivery of Children's Trust Arrangements is driven by the Children's Trust Executive (CTE) and supported by the District Wider Leadership Teams and District Partnerships.

It is CTE's role to act on behalf of the Children's Board in delivering the five Every Child Matters Outcomes and the Children and Young People's Plan. It will develop and deliver the vision and implementation plan for the six districts ensuring joint management and leadership. A key part of its role is to ensure correct governance and management arrangements for services for children and it will set objectives for each district and monitor performance.

CTE acts as the Project Board for CTA projects.

District Wider Leadership Teams (DWLT's) report to the CTE. These teams include a District Manager from Children's Social Care, General Manager representing Health, Head of Education Service, Head Teacher and voluntary sector representative.
