The aim of putting this resource together is to provide information for new people arriving in Manchester.
While the resource is aimed at all new people coming to Manchester, it is particularly intended for people from abroad such as refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. The objective is to help people to settle and integrate into the city.
It is hoped that services, agencies or groups working with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants will find this resource useful. The amount of information that could have been included is vast. Information changes regularly. The purpose of this guide is to provide the main areas of information that will assist people new to Manchester to find basic essential information that is relevant to their daily needs - a guide to settling into Manchester.
There are details of useful contacts within each section, which are intended to signpost the reader to sources where there is a wealth of existing and more current information.
