What we mean by ‘decision’
We make decisions about your Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit claim following rules set down by the government. Decisions include things like:

whether you can get benefit

When we have assessed your benefit claim we tell you our decision in a letter and we also tell you what to do if you disagree with our decision.
