If your council daycare is closing
If your council day-care is closing, and you (and your partner if you have one) work, you could get special help to cover extra childcare costs.
If your child is three or four
You can get free early-years education for 15 hours a week during school term time.
If your child is two years old
You could get free care for 15 hours a week in certain circumstances.
If you work
If you work at least 16 hours a week you could get a tax credit to help with childcare costs. Some employers offer childcare vouchers to help cover costs - they can save you over £1500 a year.
