Playschemes

What are playschemes?

Open Access Playschemes provide supervised play activities for school aged children. Open access means that the playscheme is open to all children in the local community on a first come first served basis. Supervised play activities are provided by staff on a sessional basis, and is therefore not normally suitable for working parents and does not constitute care being provided in the absence of parents/carers.

Where are playschemes?

A complete list of playschemes operating during school holidays is available prior to the holiday period. When the information is available, a link will be placed here. In the meantime, if you have any queries regarding open access play in Manchester, please telephone 0161 274 6503
