Environmental Business Pledge

The Environmental Business Pledge* is a free advice and award scheme designed to help organisations in Manchester improve their environmental performance and generate cost savings.

Manchester City Council, in partnership with Groundwork, has designed the scheme to suit all types of organisations, regardless of size or sector. Members can access free environmental resource efficiency reviews and in-depth advice on improving business processes, reducing C02 emissions and cutting utility costs. We simply review an organisation's existing operations to see how they can be made more efficient.

The scheme provides a structured, focused approach to improving environmental performance and gives organisations the opportunity to gain Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. These can be used to highlight green credentials to customers, employees and suppliers.
