The Local Government Boundary Commission wanted your views on their review of council ward boundaries – the borders round the different areas your councillors represent.
The closing date to give your views was Monday 26 September 2016. After considering all the responses, the Commission published draft recommendations in November for further consultation.
Final recommendations have now been published by the Local Government Boundary Commission. These recommendations will now go through Parliament to be passed as law and will come into effect at the Local Elections, which take place on 3 May 2018.
You can find out why they have done the review and read the final recommendations on the Local Government Boundary Commission website.
